Casting Resin Jewelry
Rosella
Ontario, Canada

Rosella is a creative venture by two sisters, Gwynne and Jessica Burgess. They believe that nature is the greatest designer and love creating contemporary resin jewelry that showcases or mimics nature’s greatest designs.

They weren’t completely satisfied with the casting resin they were using and after a lengthy testing phase, it became clear that Super Sap CCR casting resin was the perfect product for them. It’s clear, magnifying quality showcases the natural objects beautifully and with very few bubbles. Most of all, they love that the product is made with biobased materials such as industrial pine oils for a true eco resin.

"What we love about resin is that it preserves and showcases ephemeral objects from nature. We take great care in the mold making, casting and finishing process so that the finished products are beautifully clear, eye-catching, and extremely comfortable."

Rosella and the Environment
We are conscious about our impact on the environment and we have taken steps to ensure we’re creating as little waste as possible in our studio. In our bangles and rings we include beautiful real objects from nature such as lichen, bark, flowers, feathers, wheat. Other designs are mineral-inspired, using metallic flakes and mimic minerals such as graphite and crystals. The natural objects we use in our jewelry are all naturally sourced; the bark and leaves we use have long fallen from the tree, and our naturally-moulted, cruelty-free feathers are sourced from reputable aviaries.

Our goal is to create unique heirloom jewelry that our customers will cherish. We’re always finding new inspiration in the world around us. This project has changed the way we look at the world and we’re always finding new inspiration in our natural surroundings.
