Sustainable Table Tops

When Sambazon, the makers of acai drinks and foods, needed a designer that understood their sustainable mantra for their flagship cafe, they turned to eVocal. When eVocal needed a materials provider to help them keep with this mantra, they turned to Entropy Resins.

Br3tt Walker of eVocal was interested in finding a way to to showcase Sambazon's featured ingredient, acai seeds, in such a way where the customers could be immersed in the product. His idea: to cast the seeds in a table top. Using Entropy's CCR epoxy for his resin casting, he was able to achieve the unique visual effect while maintaining the sustainable materials concept that runs through the entire cafe.
